Our Story and Passion
Welcome to the creative world of Kate and Piper, Mother daughter partnership inspired by connection, neurodivergence, and authenticity.
Piper, an autistic adult with learning disabilities and complex medical needs, sees the world in her own wonderfully unique way.
Her humour, resilience and distinctive creativity are at the heart of everything created.
At 16, Piper learnt to read and discovered a love of writing in her own font ignoring most of the rules from education filling notebooks with funny, heartfelt notes and observations mainly to her imaginary boyfriends. They all have the air of that first summer of love. Inspired by Pipers notes they also now create handmade ceramics that celebrate imperfection, decadence in their favourite tones.

Since birth, Piper has spent much of her life at home due to a number of complex medical conditions, so creating stimulating and inspiring environment has become a huge part of both Kate and Pipers world. Together, they are constantly reimagining and restyling their home in Hackney, London bringing fresh energy, creativity and fun wherever they can.
​
Their love of monochrome flows through not only their artwork, but also the way they dress and live with the occasional dash of colour. Yet behind their go to black and white aesthetic are two incredibly vibrant, colourful personalities. Anyone lucky enough to meet them or follow along on their instagram, which offers a genuine glimpse into their everyday lives and reality, quickly discovers a world filled with humour, warmth, honesty, creativity and joy.
